Living in the UK but California born, Matthew has made London his home and been fortunate to be involved with good coffee in this city.
For nearly a decade, Matthew has helped London-based coffee businesses to grow their operations and to uphold and improve the quality of their offerings. His work centres around roasting, green coffee and coffee-related design.
His approach is to stay curious and experimental and always keep learning.
Matthew won the UK National Roasting competition two years in a row in 2016 & 2017 and in both years represented the UK at the World Coffee Roasting Championship, placing 3rd in Shanghai in 2016.
