What are the exact dates and times of Camp?

30 September - 3 October, 2019 Camp will start on Monday September 30th at 3.30pm with registration and welcome before the dinner and team challenges. The end time of camp on Thursday 3rd October will be at 2pm following the Team Challenge Cupping & Awards.

Who is Camp for? What level of experience do I need to have?

The educational program at CRG Camp has been created by the Coffee Roasters Guild Working Group to reflect and build upon elements of SCA's Coffee Skills Program. Breaking down parts of the Roasting Module into bitesize classes – the program is composed of a variety of modules to cater for roasters with diverse skill levels and interest.

What classes should I take?

We're offering a combination of different classes aimed at ensuring there is a good option for a variety of skills throughout each session.


What is included in the ticket?

The ticket includes: • attendance to Coffee Roasters Guild Camp 2019 | Annecy, France | 30 September – 3 October • all meals (3 x lunch, 3 x dinner) during the event • depending on ticket selection: 3 nights (30th Sept, 1st & 2nd Oct) bed & breakfast accommodation at the Neaclub Hotel • access to your selection of workshops, lectures and social activities at CRG Camp Tickets do not include: • travel to/from France • transfers to/from Geneva airport and the Neaclub Hotel (an additional fee applies) • alcohol and other personal expenses

How do I get from the airport to Camp?

Annecy is approx. 58km from Geneva airport. Please see here for travel options. Alternatively, you can book on to one of our scheduled shuttles here

Can you send me an invitation letter to obtain my visa?

Yes, we can help you out with an invitation letter and hotel confirmation in order for you to apply for a visa. Please send us an email with the following information: name as on passport, passport no, nationality and company you work for.

Will you send tickets by e-mail or post?

We will not send out any virtual or physical tickets. The QR code on the confirmation e-mail sent to you upon buying a ticket is your proof. If you purchase tickets for someone else, make sure to assign them to the correct attendee during the ticket registration process.

I bought a ticket but now can't attend anymore. Can I get a refund?

All ticket sales for CRG Camp are subject to the following cancellation policy: • A 100% refund of the received ticket fee until 10 weeks (22 July 2019) prior to the event start date. • A 50% refund of the received ticket fee until 6 weeks (19 August 2019) prior to the event start date. • After this date no refund is possible. No exceptions. • Transferring your ticket to another person is possible via the reassign feature on your ticket


Can I stay with my friend/partner in one room?

Yes, given that each of you holds a valid ticket to Camp. Shared accommodation is in double, triple or quadruple rooms. Beds may be double or twins and will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. We will endeavour to create same gender rooms unless you've given us a roommate preference. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences, but they cannot be guaranteed.

Do you have single rooms?

Due to the limited capacity at the Neaclub Hotel, a limited number of single rooms are available at an additional cost. To purchase a ticket with a single room head over here

Can I stay at the hotel before/after Camp?

Yes, we’ve been able to secure a good rate at the hotel. If you purchase a ticket with accommodation, the nights of 30th of September, 1st and 2nd of October are included in your ticket. If you would like to book an extra night before or after Camp, please book via the ticket page here. Please do not contact the hotel directly. The following rates apply — prices are per night, per room: • Single Room: bed&breakfast €80 • Double Room: bed&breakfast €100

Can I bring a friend/partner who will not be attending Camp?

Unfortunately spaces are reserved exclusively for CRG Camp attendees. We believe Camp is an experience you share with other attendees, from breakfast until bedtime. There will be classes and lectures throughout the day, and activities in the evening.

I have dietary requirements - Will you cater for me?

Yes, we will try our best to cater for you. As most of our meals will be buffet style, we will make sure there are options for vegetarians too. We will send out a questionnaire to all attendees before Camp inquiring about your food preference.
